Led by National Geographic Creative photographer Kike Calvo, a Natural history and birdwatching leader plus local experts on each location. It includes presentations on photography, photo critiques and photography training.

ACCOMODATIONS: Lodging will consist of 3 -4 -star hotels in Cali and Popayan, a comfortable rural hotel in Anchicaya (El Queremal), a lovely boutique hotel in San Agustin, a Swiss-built lodge at La Cocha Lagoon and a ba- sic 3-star hotel with air conditioning in Mocoa. We expect relative comfort, hot showers and excel- lent local food and provide a nice variety of snacks and purified or bottled drinking water available throughout the trip.

Day 6: Popayan
Day 7: Purace National Park
Day 8: Patia Valley and Besuaco Road
Day 9-11: La Cocha Lagoon and Bordoncillo Paramo
Day 12 -14: Mocoa, Putumayo
Day 15: San Agustin
Day 16: Pitalito-Cali flight
Day 17: Depart Cali
- Bird the trampoline of diversity road for 2 days, enjoying an elevation gradient of 1,800 m (6,000 ft).
- Explore the San Agustin Archeological park, where the added bonus is 2 endemics: Dusky-headed Brush-finch and Colombian Chachalaca.
- See Andean Condors up close in the paramo of Purace National Park.
